What It Is

2Change is an exchange service for Russian-speaking clients, working for 4+ years across 57+ countries, with Thailand among them. In Phuket it accepts roubles and USDT and pays out baht in two ways: as cash at a QR-enabled ATM, or as a transfer to a Thai bank account. Both routes start at 8,000 THB. It holds no office on the island, which is the main structural difference from the four exchangers ranked below it.

Alongside exchange, the service covers two adjacent needs for long-stay visitors: invoice payments to recipients in Thailand — developers, schools, clinics — from roubles or USDT, and Thailand eSIMs. One Russian-speaking manager handles all of it on Telegram, WhatsApp or MAX. How It Works

You agree the amount with the manager, who confirms the figure in baht before any money moves. After you send roubles or USDT, you go to an ATM that offers withdrawal without a card, select that option, photograph the QR code on the screen and send the photo to the manager. Once payment is confirmed, the machine dispenses the notes — from 5 minutes. A phone with mobile internet is the only equipment required, which is why installing an eSIM before the flight removes the usual first-day scramble.

If you already hold a Thai bank account, the same request can end in a transfer to it instead, with the same 8,000 THB minimum. The direction is one-way: baht are not exchanged back into roubles or USDT in Thailand, so the sum is worth planning against what you will actually spend.

How It Compares

Against Senate Exchange and ExFM, the two other services here that take both roubles and USDT, 2Change gives up the option of a counter and a courier, and wins on the simplicity of the route: any district with a bank machine works, at any hour, without fitting into 10:00-22:00 office hours. Senate Exchange applies a higher rate below 10,000 THB and asks for a passport or driving licence in the office; ExFM publishes one office address on the island and improves its rate only from 49,999 THB.

Against ARBI Exchange, which starts from 1,000 THB, 2Change is the weaker option for a small top-up: its floor is 8,000 THB. Against Bitkub and Binance TH it needs no Thai bank account at all, and against a UnionPay card it avoids the 250-350 THB Krungsri ATM fee plus the issuer's own charge on every withdrawal. Visitors without a Thai card who are staying away from Kata, Karon and Bang Tao get the strongest match here.
