What It Is

Money Shop Phuket operates seven offices: Rawai, Nai Harn, Kata, Bang Tao, Nai Yang, Central Festival and Chalong Lotus. It is the only service in this ranking with a counter close to the airport, in Nai Yang, and the only one present in both the far south and the north of the island.

It accepts roubles by transfer, including from Sber, and rouble cash across the counter — a combination shared here only with ExFM. USDT is not mentioned on its website.

How It Works

After agreeing the amount, baht can be collected at any of the seven offices, at a cardless ATM, by courier, or by transfer to a Thai bank account. No minimum is published, but exchanges below 8,000 THB are calculated at a separate rate, so very small sums are better done elsewhere.

The spread of offices is what this service sells: wherever you are based on the island, one of the seven is usually within a short drive, and the Nai Yang counter is the closest thing to an airport option among the exchangers here.

How It Compares

Against ARBI Exchange, Money Shop has two more offices and reaches the north, but sets a rate boundary at 8,000 THB where ARBI simply starts at 1,000 THB. Against 2Change it offers counters and rouble cash and gives up the USDT input and the single 8,000 THB minimum that applies to both of 2Change's payout routes.

Against the licensed counters of Value Plus, the difference is what they take: Money Shop accepts roubles, Value Plus does not. For a visitor with roubles staying in Rawai, Nai Harn or near the airport, this is the most convenient office network in the ranking.
