What It Is

Oplatym is a transfer service moving money from Russia to Thailand rather than an exchange counter on the island. It accepts roubles in cash or by bank transfer, and USDT, and pays out in baht or in US dollars.

Requests are placed in a Telegram chat, which is where the fee is quoted: the published range is 1.5% to 10%, with the exact figure given case by case. The minimum is 100 USD.

How It Works

You describe the transfer in the chat, receive the terms, then send the money. A bank transfer to Thai account details arrives within 30 minutes of the payment being received; a cash payout takes up to 2 hours.

The website does not name a cash pickup point in Phuket, so if you need notes rather than a bank credit, that is the first question to settle in the chat before sending anything.
