What It Is

Avosend is a money transfer service that has paid out cash baht in Thailand since 13 July 2025, through Big C Service Counters. Cryptocurrency is not accepted; the input is roubles from Russia.

Limits are published and tight: from 100 to 30,000 THB per transfer, and up to 90,000 THB per day. Funds can be collected within 15 days of sending.

How It Works

The sender creates a transfer, the recipient collects the cash at a Big C Service Counter against a transfer reference number and identification. Payouts run Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 22:00, so a weekend arrival means waiting. An alternative payout to a Thai bank account is available.

The website does not confirm which Big C locations in Phuket handle the service, which is the detail to verify before relying on it for a specific district.

How It Compares

Against Oplatym, the other transfer service here, Avosend has fixed published limits and a retail pickup point instead of a chat-quoted fee, but does not take USDT and cannot pay out in US dollars. Against the island exchangers it is slower and capped: 30,000 THB per transfer will not cover a deposit on a condo or a season's rent.

Where it fits is the small, regular case: money sent by family in Russia to a visitor who would rather walk into a supermarket counter than message a manager.
