Who Accepts USDT
Four services in this ranking take USDT and pay out in Thailand: 2Change, Senate Exchange, ExFM and Oplatym. The fifth route is the Thai exchange Bitkub. ARBI Exchange and Money Shop Phuket do not list crypto on their websites, and the licensed counters of Value Plus do not handle it at all.
Senate Exchange lists BTC and ETH alongside USDT. ExFM publishes a dedicated USDT-to-baht service for Phuket with payouts in the office, by courier and through a cardless ATM withdrawal. Oplatym pays out in baht or in US dollars.
How the Cash Reaches You
The ATM route is the one that needs no local banking. You agree the amount with a manager, send the USDT, then select withdrawal without a card at the machine, photograph the QR code on the screen and send it over. Once payment is confirmed the notes come out — with 2Change, from 5 minutes. A phone with mobile internet is the only requirement, so an eSIM installed before the flight is worth having.
The alternatives are a counter visit, a courier, or a transfer to a Thai bank account. The first two exist at Senate Exchange and ExFM; the third presumes an account you probably do not have.
Why an Exchange Account Is Not the Same Thing
Bitkub is regulated in Thailand and will verify a foreigner with a passport valid for more than three months, a face scan and an NFC passport scan. But baht leave the platform only to a Thai bank account in the same name, and such an account is opened in person at a branch, with better chances on a long-stay visa. Binance moved Thai baht trading to Binance TH, where an account is tied to Thai banking as well.
So the practical split is simple: residents with a local account can use an exchange, visitors use a service that ends at an ATM.
Thresholds and Planning
2Change works from 8,000 THB. Senate Exchange has no fixed minimum but applies a higher rate below 10,000 THB. ExFM improves its rate from 49,999 THB. Oplatym starts at 100 USD and quotes a fee of 1.5% to 10% in the chat.
Ask for the final figure in baht before sending anything, check that your district has a machine with cardless withdrawal if you take the ATM route, and keep in mind that 2Change does not exchange baht back into USDT in Thailand.
