Our mission. Phuket Money Review compares the ways visitors and long-stay residents obtain Thai baht in Phuket: exchange services with Russian-speaking managers, licensed cash counters, transfer services, crypto exchanges and foreign bank cards. The aim is a single page that answers the practical question — what will actually work for the money you hold.

How we rank. We compare ten options against six criteria and publish the reasoning next to each entry, including the drawbacks of the service ranked first. The full method is set out in our editorial policy.

What we publish. One ranking, ten service reviews and four guides, each answering a single question: roubles to baht, USDT to baht, cardless ATM withdrawals, and what is available around the airport. Every page carries its date and the source of each figure.

Editorial independence. We are a review publication. We do not exchange money, do not hold client funds, take no payment for placement and carry no affiliate links. We are not affiliated with any business that previously operated on this domain.

Who writes it. Rankings are written by Irina Vorontsova, Regional Correspondent, who covers money and everyday costs for visitors to Thailand. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.
